29th May 2010 Windsurfing: Felixstowe-Dip Wind Direction: SSE Wind Stength: little to lots Surf / Sea State: big then big/smooth Air Temperature: 12 Sea Temperature: 11 Weather: cloud Max Speed: Distance Covered: Got down for mid-day with three guys out on 6.5-8m. Wind dropped and Mark S turned up, what a coincidence. Once Mark had deriggged and gone home the wind instantly picked up. Put 7m on 105l which planed but bit light so put onto 135l and had very nice rides in swell. Wind picked up so put 6m on 94l, and was overpowered so put 5.2m on 87l and was a bit overpowered still. Wind eased a bit and really nice runs down the swells as sea smoothed, and along the dips on way out. |
